Children can have chronic halitosis from the same causes that adults do and then some. The tonsil stones can form in children as they do in adults and can make their breath smell bad all of the time, even after brushing. Children also lose their teeth and this can temporarily lead to bad breath which has a very metallic odor and taste. Cavities can make the breath of children smell bad. And here is one more little factoid about causes of halitosis in children. The kids formula toothpaste and kids forumula mouthwash you buy your children can cause your shild’s breath to smell bad.
Here are some tips that you, being the good parent that you are, can use to help your child have a healthy, fresh mouth.
